Though the world of Merrytune lost its magic long ago, there are still some things which, though without any real magic, seem to hint silently at what was before... some of the luminescent flora in the Mafic sea caves, for example, can appear rather magical in the natural way they glow. Kind of like what Parch was talking about in this page of the old version of this comic. fav.me/d6475lk

Holy-oly-guacamole, this page. What a doozy this one was. All that background detail... can you see now why it took me so long? Though, this is not the dooziest of the doozies to come... just wait until ARCHITECTURE enters the room. Luckily, not ALL the pages of this comic will be this detailed. Though, it wasn't even the detailed backgrounds that annoyed me the most, it was all the faraway-shots of the three kids. I had to get all their positioning and proportions and INTER-proportions right on such a tiiiiiny scale, and I couldn't even clearly draw their faces, which is my favorite part to draw on any character. xP

As stated by the 'next' link, I think I'm going to try to build a 'buffer' of pages so that I can establish a schedule of regular updates. That means it might be a while till the next page is posted, but it would have long-term rewards for those of you reading in that updates wouldn't be random, and you'd know the wait would not be indefinite. ^_^
